Jennifer Levine, M.D.

When Jennifer Levine, M.D., was presented with an opportunity to be a founding member of the new organization called Beauty Together, it didn’t take her long to jump on board…especially when she learned that its primary focus is about empowering other women in aesthetics. Inspiring and uplifting other women to strive for success is a deeply ingrained conviction of Dr. Levine’s, which obviously makes her a vital member of this unprecedented society of professionals created by women for women.

“I have always valued education and excellence. I love teaching and learning from my colleagues and peers. I also deeply care about helping other women,” she said. “I have 2 daughters, and my sister, who is an orthopedic surgeon, also has 2 girls. I have an all-female office. In addition to mentoring at my medical school and college, I also participate with other women empowerment organizations, such as the Women Presidents’ Organization, Girls Inc., and E School for Girls. I love the idea that the brand (of Beauty Together) is collaborative across all specialties and is forward-thinking.”

In her own practice, Dr. Levine proudly proclaims her philosophy is that every individual has the right to natural, believable results that enhance their appearance, not create a whole new face. She is an expert in the latest invasive and non-invasive anti-aging treatments that help achieve “believable beauty” and maintain the look patients have always wanted. Sharing ideas and proven tactics with a diverse group of female peers through Beauty Together is an invaluable experience that Dr. Levine is most assuredly looking forward to.

“Women in aesthetics hold the key to the future of aesthetics,” she said. “Most of our patients are women, but there are very few female plastic surgeons. Diversity of the specialties in the group, much like diversity in the world, only makes the brand stronger. Diversity is relevant, allows for growth and expansion, as well as offering the ability to adapt, change and pivot. There is not a cross-specialty women’s group in aesthetics currently.”

As far as Beauty Together and its benevolent mission, Dr. Levine is proud to be a part of the movement, one that she believes will manifest wonderful things on the horizon.

“Like the group, I have a vision of expansion,” she said. “The field of aesthetics is in its infancy with only 4% market penetration. We have the ability to gain more of the market at an earlier age and help change the way people think about these products.”

Dr. Levine graduated with honors from Columbia University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology. She subsequently received her medical doctorate from Cornell University Medical College. Her post-doctoral training included a general surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, a residency in Otolaryngology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, and completed her residency in Otolaryngology at New York University, where she was chief resident. She then served as a fellow in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at New York University Hospital, where she trained with the top surgeons in her field.

Dr. Levine is one of only a few surgeons who are double-board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, giving her a unique knowledge of the face and its underlying structures. She currently lives and practices on the Upper Eastside of Manhattan.
