Sheila Barbarino

“I was raised by my single mom, who was hard-working, beautiful, and strong,” Dr. Barbarino said. “My mom was an empowered woman who ran her own business and raised me and my siblings all on her own. I learned so much from her.”

As a female surgeon, Dr. Barbarino recognizes the importance of seeing her patients from a woman’s perspective. She listens to and understands the specific concerns that her patients share regarding their appearance and perceived imperfections. She knows the importance of empathizing with her patients and their desire to look and feel youthful and attractive. In doing so, she helps them achieve their goals in ways they couldn’t accomplish on their own.

Dr. Barbarino is also a world-renowned speaker, teacher, and lecturer at medical symposiums and medical conferences. She is a sought-after key opinion leader, serves on multiple advisory boards, in addition to running her busy practice with patients who travel from all over the country for her expert touch.

“Women in aesthetics is an important underrepresented and divided demographic. Dr. Barbarino is a board-certified surgeon with a fellowship in oculo-facial plastics and cosmetic plastic surgery. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the executive board of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Barbarino’s expertise lies in the practice of cosmetic, corrective, and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, face, and body.
